Some tips to get rid of the musty smell on smocked baby clothing

Old baby clothes is often have rid of the musty smell and easy caused toxic for baby. I want to share you some tips to get rid of the musty smell on smocked clothing: 

Your baby clothes get musty for some reasons: you put wet clothes in the washing machine for too long or you packed them away before they were fully dry, etc. you can try some below ways to resolve these problems:

1. Wash your smocked suits with a cup of vinegar along with the laundry detergent to the load. Use bleach instead of vinegar if doing a load of whites.

2. Presoak: put on tub with the smelly custom baby clothing, cover with water and add vinegar. Soak for a few hours before washing as usual.

3. Wash the load again and let hang outdoors on the line, the sun will get rid of the mold spores (works only on hot sunny days).

Now, musty smell on smocked baby outfit is not difficult for parents. You could prepare fresh and clean clothing for kids to go out or play after do laundry.
